Escape or Die Trying

You’re an Allied prisoner of war, held in a chain of German camps. Every camp is a maze of cells, corridors and locked doors, and every corridor has a guard.

Sneak through each level to the stairs, break out of the camp, and earn your promotion. Then they catch you, and send you somewhere worse.

Find the way out

Stay out of sight

Guards spot you if you’re close and in front of them. Crouch behind crates and furniture, slip past their patrols, and use the minimap to plan your route.

Wear their uniform

Find a German uniform in a chest and walk past guards who’d otherwise stop you. A soldier’s gets you so far; an officer’s or the SS gets you further.

Keys, chests and doors

Search chests for keys, pistols and disguises. Every key opens one locked door, so choose your way out carefully.

Fight back

Knock a guard out cold, or shoot him if you’ve found a pistol, though every guard who hears it will come running. A flashbang blinds the whole level.

Ranks and medals

Every camp you escape earns a promotion. Win medals along the way, and smuggle out the secret document hidden in each camp.

Never the same twice

Every level is built fresh, with new rooms, routes and patrols, and each camp is tougher than the last.
